Abstract

การบาดเจ็บช่องท้องเป็นภัยร้ายที่คุกคามชีวิตในผู้ป่วยอุบัติเหตุ เป็นสาเหตุการเสียชีวิตที่สำคัญ อันเนื่อง มาจากมีอวัยวะที่สำคัญหลายอย่างในช่องท้อง ได้แก่ ตับ ม้าม กระเพาะอาหาร ลำไส้เล็ก ลำไส้ใหญ่ ไตและทางเดินปัสสาวะ และหลอดเลือดใหญ่ เป็นต้น หากมีการบาดเจ็บรุนแรง อาจทำให้ผู้ป่วยมีอาการเสียเลือดมาก หรือ ติดเชื้อรุนแรง ทำให้เกิดการเสียชีวิตได้
