Welcome to the Repository of Knowledge on Wounds and Wound Healing in Thailand
The Thai Journal of Burn and Wound Healing is the principal academic journal continuously published by the Burn and Wound Healing Association (Thailand). Our mission is to serve as the central hub for disseminating research findings, academic articles, and the latest innovations in the care of burn patients and chronic wounds.
The Thai Journal of Burn and Wound Healing acts as a crucial mechanism driving the Association's mission, particularly under the core concept of the Executive Committee: “Strengthening Knowledge – Developing Networks – Elevating Treatment Standards.” We prioritize articles that can successfully bridge research with practical application (Translational Research), ensuring the adoption of standardized and internationally accepted treatment guidelines.
The Thai Journal of Burn and Wound Healing welcomes the submission of quality articles in various formats, including: Original Articles, Review Articles, Case Reports (including the presentation of complex case studies or new treatment techniques), and Clinical Practice Guidelines (the development of standardized manuals and care guidelines).
The entire Editorial Board and all esteemed peer reviewers are deeply committed to maintaining the highest standards in the screening and evaluation process (Peer Review). This commitment ensures that every published work contributes meaningfully to enhancing the knowledge, competence, and patient care standards of healthcare personnel nationwide.
The journal will be published online (E-journal) two times a year, approximately in June and December of every year with three-blind peer review by expert panels.
We warmly invite all academics, researchers, physicians, nurses, and healthcare professionals interested in the field of burns and wound care to submit their valuable work, contribute to mutual benefit, and collectively achieve the shared goal of developing treatment quality to be tangibly comparable to international standards.
