ผลของการฝึกอบรมหลักสูตรระยะสั้นต่อความรู้และทักษะในการดูแลผู้สูงอายุของอาสาสมัครสาธารณสุขประจำหมู่บ้าน ต.สามพร้าว จ.อุดรธานี

การวิจัยนี้เป็นการวิจัยกึ่งทดลอง แบบการศึกษากลุ่มเดียว ทดสอบก่อนหลัง เพื่อศึกษาผลของการฝึกอบรมหลักสูตรระยะสั้นต่อความรู้และทักษะในการดูแลผู้สูงอายุของอาสาสมัครสาธารณสุขประจำหมู่บ้าน จำนวน 30 ราย ที่อาศัยในตำบลสามพร้าว จังหวัดอุดรธานี โดยใช้แบบประเมินวัดความรู้เกี่ยวกับการดูแลสุขภาพของผู้สูงอายุ และแบบประเมินทักษะในการดูแลสุขภาพผู้สูงอายุก่อนและหลังการฝึกอบรมหลักสูตรระยะสั้น โดยปรับจากคู่มือแนวทางการฝึกอบรมผู้ดูแลผู้สูงอายุหลักสูตร 70 ชั่วโมง ของสำนักส่งเสริมสุขภาพ กรมอนามัย กระทรวงสาธารณสุข และอ้างอิงจากทฤษฎีการพัฒนาหลักสูตรของไทเลอร์
ผลการศึกษา พบว่า คะแนนเฉลี่ยของการประเมินทักษะในการดูแลผู้สูงอายุของอาสาสมัครสาธารณสุขประจำหมู่บ้าน 48.93 คะแนน ผ่านเกณฑ์ 50% (25 คะแนน) หลังเข้ารับการฝึกอบรมระยะสั้นมาร้อยละ 100 และมีค่าคะแนนเฉลี่ยความรู้ในการดูแลผู้สูงอายุหลังการฝึกอบรมหลักสูตรระยะสั้นมากกว่าก่อนการฝึกอบรมหลักสูตรระยะสั้น อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ (p < .001)
