ประสิทธิผลการดูแลผู้สูงอายุของแกนนำเยาวชน โดยใช้อาสาสมัครสาธารณสุขประจำหมู่บ้าน เป็นพี่เลี้ยงในเทศบาลตำบลท่าม่วง จังหวัดร้อยเอ็ด

การวิจัยครั้งนี้เป็นวิจัยกึ่งทดลอง (Qua-si experimental design) เพื่อศึกษาประสิทธิผลของการดูแลผู้สูงอายุของแกนนำเยาวชนโดยใช้อาสาสมัครสาธารณสุขประจำหมู่บ้านเป็นพี่เลี้ยง ในเทศบาลตำบลท่าม่วง จังหวัดร้อยเอ็ด กลุ่มตัวอย่างเป็นผู้สูงอายุกลุ่มติดบ้านและติดเตียง จำนวน 50 คน ที่มีคุณสมบัติตามเกณฑ์ เก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลโดยใช้ แบบประเมิน ADL แบบประเมินความ พึงพอใจ ที่มีความเชื่อมั่นโดยการทดสอบค่าสัมประสิทธิ์ความเชื่อมั่นของครอนบาค (Cronbach's reliability coefficient alpha) เท่ากับ 0.86 และ 0.85 ตามลำดับ และวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลด้วยสถิติความถี่ ร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย และส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน และ pair t-test
ผลการศึกษาพบว่า ภายหลังการทดลอง ผู้สูงอายุมีคะแนนเฉลี่ย ADL สูงกว่าก่อนเข้าร่วมโปรแกรม (p=.001) ความพึงพอใจของผู้สูงอายุต่อการดูแลผู้สูงอายุของแกนนำเยาวชนโดยรวมอยู่ในระดับมาก
