ปัจจัยที่สัมพันธ์กับอาการทางจิตเวชในกลุ่มผู้เสพยาเสพติด

ยาเสพติดที่ก่อให้เกิดผลกระทบทางลบมากมาย ต่อร่างกายของผู้เสพ ต่อครอบครัว และสังคม การศึกษานี้เป็นการศึกษาเชิงสำรวจภาคตัดขวาง มุ่งเน้นลักษณะทางประชากรและพฤติกรรมการเสพยาเสพติด และปัจจัยที่สัมพันธ์กับอาการทางจิตเวช ในการศึกษานี้ ศึกษาในผู้เสพยาเสพติด ที่มีอาการทางจิต และเข้ารับการบำบัดในสถานบริการของรัฐทั่วประเทศ ดำเนินการสุ่มตัวอย่าง แบบจำแนกชั้นภูมิ สุ่มกระจุก ได้ผู้ที่ยินยอมเข้าร่วมโครงการกลุ่มเป้าหมาย 1,035 ราย เก็บข้อมูลด้วยการสัมภาษณ์แบบมีโครงสร้างร่วมกับการสังเกต และประวัติการรักษา วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลด้วยการแจกแจงความถี่ ร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน และการทดสอบไคสแควร์
ผลการศึกษาพบว่า เพศ สถานภาพการสมรส และการศึกษา ระหว่างผู้เสพเมทแอมเฟตามีน กับผู้เสพยาเสพติดชนิดอื่น ๆ แตกต่างกัน อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ ในกลุ่มของผู้เสพเมทแอมเฟตามีนพบว่า อาการหงุดหงิด ก้าวร้าว ประสาทหลอน ซึมเศร้า และสับสน แตกต่างจากผู้เสพยาเสพติด ชนิดอื่น อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ
