Abstract

in the era of pollution, the world is full of various pollutants which are mainly due to human’s activities that lead to the increase of free radicals around US. These free radicals are the cause of an oxidative stress that results เท chronic deterioration of almost every disease and early aging. Health care เท the present period requires an integration of several approaches including regular exercise, healthy nutrition with sufficient supplementary diet, daily living pattern modification, and pollution avoidance. Nowadays, nurses need to be knowledgeable and understand the effects of pollution on human health. Besides, they should be able to use health care strategies which correspond to the diseases caused by pollution efficiently so that they can take care of themselves and provide quality nursing care in their services. Nursing managers should also emphasize health promotion and disease prevention to keep nursing personnel healthy without deteriorating disease. This approach will enable them to contribute more to the quality of nursing care to service users.
