บทบาทของอาสาสมัครสาธารณสุขประจำหมู่บ้านในการเยี่ยมบ้านผู้ป่วย โรคความดันโลหิตสูงในชุมชน

โรคความดันโลหิตสูงเป็นโรคไม่ติดต่อเรื้อรังที่ส่งผลกระทบต่อสุขภาพประชาชนอย่างกว้างขวาง และเป็นสาเหตุสำคัญของการเสียชีวิตก่อนวัยอันควร การจัดการโรคในระดับชุมชนจึงต้องอาศัยทั้งการรักษาทางการแพทย์ การปรับพฤติกรรมสุขภาพ และกลไกสนับสนุนจากชุมชน โดยมีอาสาสมัครสาธารณสุขประจำหมู่บ้าน (อสม.) เป็นกำลังสำคัญในการดูแลผู้ป่วยร่วมกับทีมสุขภาพผ่านการเยี่ยมบ้านอย่างต่อเนื่องตามขอบเขตและบทบาทของอสม. ประกอบด้วย 1) การคัดกรอง และค้นหาผู้ป่วยรายใหม่เพื่อส่งต่อเข้าสู่ระบบสุขภาพ 2) การติดตาม และประเมินภาวะสุขภาพร่วมกับพยาบาลเพื่อให้เกิดการดูแลอย่างต่อเนื่อง 3) การส่งเสริมความรู้และพฤติกรรมสุขภาพ เช่น การใช้ยาอย่างสม่ำเสมอ การปรับพฤติกรรมการบริโภคอาหาร และการออกกำลังกาย และ 4) การดูแลแบบองค์รวม ทั้งด้านร่างกาย จิตใจ และสังคม ผ่านการให้กำลังใจและการสร้างเครือข่ายการช่วยเหลือในชุมชน อสม. จึงมีบทบาทสำคัญในการเสริมประสิทธิภาพของการควบคุมโรค ลดภาวะแทรกซ้อน แบ่งเบาภาระบุคลากรสุขภาพ และยกระดับคุณภาพชีวิตของผู้ป่วยและประชาชนในชุมชนอย่างยั่งยืน
