ความสัมพันธ์เชิงสถิติระหว่างอุตุสมุฏฐานและประเทศสมุฏฐานกับการเกิดโรคไข้หวัดใหญ่

การวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาความสัมพันธ์เชิงสถิติระหว่างจำนวนผู้ป่วยไข้หวัดใหญ่
รายเดือนกับปัจจัยอุตุนิยมวิทยาในประเทศสมุฏฐานทั้ง 4 แบบ ได้แก่ จังหวัดเชียงใหม่ (ประเทศร้อน), นนทบุรี (ประเทศเย็น), นครราชสีมา (ประเทศอุ่น) และนครศรีธรรมราช (ประเทศหนาว) เป็นการวิจัยเชิงนิเวศแบบอนุกรมเวลา ใช้ข้อมูลทุติยภูมิรายเดือน ตั้งแต่ มกราคม พ.ศ. 2561 ถึง ธันวาคม
พ.ศ. 2567 รวม 84 เดือน ตัวแปรตามคือจำนวนผู้ป่วยไข้หวัดใหญ่รายเดือน ส่วนตัวแปรต้นคือปริมาณฝนและอุณหภูมิรายเดือน วิเคราะห์ด้วยสถิติสหสัมพันธ์แบบสเปียร์แมนและตัวแบบเชิงเส้นนัยทั่วไปที่มีการแจกแจงแบบกึ่งปัวซงและแบบทวินามลบ คัดเลือกตัวแปรต้นแบบถอยหลัง รายงานผลเป็นอัตราส่วนอุบัติการณ์ (Incidence Rate Ratio; IRR) พร้อมช่วงความเชื่อมั่นร้อยละ 95 ผลการศึกษาพบว่า จังหวัดเชียงใหม่ อุณหภูมิเฉลี่ยเพิ่มขึ้นจำนวนผู้ป่วยลดลงอย่างมีนัยสำคัญ (IRR = 0.667,
95% CI: 0.55-0.81, p < 0.001) ขณะที่ฝนต่ำสุดและอุณหภูมิต่ำสุดมีผลเพิ่มจำนวนผู้ป่วย (IRR = 1.007 และ 1.172 ตามลำดับ) จังหวัดนนทบุรี ฝนต่ำสุดเพิ่มขึ้นไม่เพิ่มจำนวนผู้ป่วย (IRR = 1.000, p = 0.016) จังหวัดนครราชสีมา อุณหภูมิสูงสุดเพิ่มขึ้นจำนวนผู้ป่วยลดลง (IRR = 0.902, p = 0.061)
อย่างไม่มีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ 0.05 จังหวัดนครศรีธรรมราช อุณหภูมิสูงสุดมีผลลดจำนวนผู้ป่วยอย่างมีนัยสำคัญ (IRR = 0.815, 95% CI: 0.70-0.95, p = 0.009) กล่าวได้ว่าปัจจัยอุตุนิยมวิทยาโดยเฉพาะอุณหภูมิ มีความสัมพันธ์กับจำนวนผู้ป่วยไข้หวัดใหญ่ในพื้นที่ประเทศสมุฏฐานทั้ง 4 แบบ โดยเฉพาะในประเทศร้อน (เชียงใหม่) และประเทศหนาว (นครศรีธรรมราช) หน่วยงานสาธารณสุขควรใช้ข้อมูลพยากรณ์อากาศร่วมกับการเฝ้าระวังโรค และควรพัฒนามาตรการเฝ้าระวังเชิงพื้นที่ที่สอดคล้องกับลักษณะภูมิอากาศของแต่ละประเทศสมุฏฐาน
