การทำศัลยกรรมปริทันต์เพิ่ม ความยาวตัวฟันเพื่อการบูรณะ: รายงานผู้ป่วย

บทคัดย่อ
บริบท ผู้ป่วยจำนวนมากต้องการเก็บรักษาฟันธรรมชาติของตนไว้ เพื่อให้สามารถใช้งานได้นานที่สุด แม้ว่าฟันนั้นจะมีพยาธิสภาพแล้วก็ตาม จึงมีการวางแผนการรักษาต่างๆเพื่อแก้ไขให้ฟันที่มีพยาธิสภาพนั้นกลับมาใช้งานได้
วัตถุประสงค์ เพื่อแสดงวิธีการศัลยกรรมปริทันต์เพิ่มความยาวตัวฟัน ซึ่งทันตแพทย์ทั่วไปสามารถนำความรู้และเทคนิคต่างๆในการศัลยกรรมปริทันต์เพิ่มความยาวตัวฟัน รวมถึงแนวทางการดูแลติดตามการรักษาผู้ป่วยที่ต้องได้รับการศัลยกรรมปริทันต์เพิ่มความยาวตัวฟันเพื่อการบูรณะไปประยุกต์ใช้ในการดูแลรักษาผู้ป่วยได้อย่างเหมาะสมต่อไป
วิธีการศึกษา เป็นรายงานผู้ป่วยแสดงการรักษาผู้ป่วยที่ได้รับการทำศัลยกรรมปริทันต์เพิ่มความยาวตัวฟันเพื่อการบูรณะในฟันกรามน้อยบนขวาที่มีปัญหาฟันผุแตกเหลือตัวฟันทางคลินิกน้อย
ผลการศึกษา จากการติดตามผลหลังการทำศัลยกรรมเพิ่มความยาวตัวฟัน 3 เดือน หลังการผ่าตัด พบว่าเหงือกบริเวณแผลผ่าตัดมีการหายของแผลที่ดี ไม่มีการอักเสบ มีคราบจุลินทรีย์สะสมเล็กน้อย ขณะที่ช่วง 6 เดือนหลังการรักษา 6 เดือน หลังการผ่าตัด ไม่พบการเปลี่ยนแปลงเพิ่มเติม เหงือกบริเวณแผลผ่าตัดมีการหายของแผลที่ดี ไม่มีการอักเสบ มีคราบจุลินทรีย์สะสมเล็กน้อย หลังการทำศัลยกรรมปริทันต์เพิ่มความยาวตัวฟัน 1 ปี รวมกับการบูรณะฟันใหม่ ลักษณะทางคลินิกของเหงือกมีสภาพปกติ ไม่มีอาการแทรกซ้อนใด ๆ ผู้ป่วยมีความพึงพอใจที่ฟันมีรูปร่างปกติ สามารถใช้เคี้ยวอาหารได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ
สรุป การทำศัลยกรรมปริทันต์เพิ่มความยาวตัวฟันเป็นการรักษาแบบองค์รวม ควรมีการตรวจวินิจฉัยถึงสาเหตุและพิจารณาวางแผนอย่างละเอียดก่อนการรักษา จะนำไปสู่การเลือกเทคนิคและประเภทของการผ่าตัดได้อย่างเหมาะสม การทราบถึงปัจจัยที่มีผลต่อความสำเร็จของการรักษา จะทำให้ได้ผลการรักษาที่ดีในระยะยาว ผู้ป่วยพึงพอใจ
