THE EFFECT OF A HEALTH BEHAVIOR MODIFICATION PROGRAM AMONG THE DIABETES RISK GROUP IN NABUO SUB-DISTRICT, PHEN DISTRICT, UDON THANI PROVINCE

This Quasi-experimental Research aimed to compare the prevention behavior of Diabetes Mellitus and health status in 78 Diabetes risk groups in the year 2021 in Phen District, Udon Thani Province. Data were collected by interview form with reliability of 0.85. Data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, and t-tests.
The results found that after using the program, the experimental group had mean scores of correct diabetes prevention behaviors more than before using the program at a statistically significant level of .05, and higher than the control group at a statistically significant level of .05. In addition, after using the program the mean body mass index, waist circumference, and blood sugar levels in the experimental group were lower than before the program at .05 level, and lower than that of the control group, statistically significant at the .05 level.
