Abstract

The objective of the research was to study the results of learning management by using a simulation in the nursing courses on the nursing competency in nursing students at Boromarajonani College of Nursing, Suphanburi. The research instruments consisted of 1) experimental tools such as instructional using a realistic simulation 2) the data collection tools were the nursing competency assessment questionnaire for nursing students and reflective practice worksheets. The statistics used for data analysis were descriptive statistics, paired t-test, and content analysis.

The results of the research showed that nursing competency for post-study students using a virtual simulation of the sample group was significantly higher than before the study at the .05 level. The reflection results were found that students learn about the assessment of the patient's condition, holistic nursing practice skills, analysis of patient problems when symptoms change, including teamwork.
