QUALITY OF LIFE AMONG UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS LIVING IN DORMITORY: CASE STUDY IN A SELECTED UNIVERSITY

This cross-sectional survey aimed to describe the quality of life among undergraduate students living in a private dormitory in a selected university and factors associated. 144 undergraduate students were recruited as study samples using systematic sampling. Data were collected using a self-administered online questionnaire developed with reliability 0.84 in October 2020. Data analysis such as percentage, mid-point, Mann-Whitney U test and Kruskal-Wallis H test were used.
The majority of participants was woman 81.3 percent. Most of the participants satisfied dormitory location to access university facilities especially in accessibility to library 90.3 percent. While 69.4 percent dissatisfied with the internet speed. Their quality of life was moderate. The factors that associated with the quality of life with a statistically significant p-value<0.05, there was the service of the dormitory office, dormitory environment, the facility in the dormitory, the room environment, and the worth of the dormitory.
