Abstract

The purpose of this research was to evaluated the performance of the herbal first aid kit Project in the household, Don Sak District, Surat Thani province. There are 2 sample groups which are 1) groups of people who participated in the group discussion and provided important information of the project, such as community leaders, village volunteers, and working groups as the selected group (purposive sampling), consisting of 47 people and 2)as 355 households participating in the herbal medicine bag training program. Data analysis as follows: qualitative data analyzed by using content analysis and quantitative data analyzed using statistics such as percentages, arithmetic means, standard deviation and chi-square test.

The results showed that participated with 3,099 households.Data from the sample representing 355 households found that using turmeric capsules at 35.21 percent, most of them had a good level of knowledge about health at 65.4 percentage ( equation = 15.81, S.D. = 2.14) and 55.8 percentage are moderate satisfied with overall the herbal first aid kit project.Illness history during the past 3 months were related to self treatment with herbal first aid kit at significant level of .001
