A STRUCTURAL RELATIONSHIP QUALITY OF WORK LIFE, JOB BURNOUT AND JOB SATISFACTION OF ACCOUNTANTS IN NAKHON RATCHASIMA PROVINCE

Abstract

The aims of this research were determined to study 1) the quality of work life level, job burnout, and job satisfaction. 2) a structural relationship of factors influencing on job satisfaction of accountants. The research instrument was questionnaires that were collected from 400 accountants in Nakhon Ratchasima province. A response rate for 367 questionnaires were 91.75 percentage. The data were analysed by descriptive statistics and Structural Equation Model.

The research finding were found as follow: From the majority of accountants’ quality of work life were investigated congruence or fitted between job and accountants. The job burnout was overall at the high level and the overall job satisfaction with an average level. When considered in a structural relationship of quality of work life, it was found that the job burnout influenced on the accountants’ job satisfaction. Model fitted the empirical data at statistics that was consist of CMIN/DF = 1.844 GFI = 0.952 AGFI = 0.913 CFI = 0.966 RMSEA = 0.048. The research result also was shown that the quality of work life influenced on job burnout, and job satisfaction both direct and indirect in negative and positive. In addition, this research result will apply for efficiency human resource management plan that lead to be sustainable development.
