How to use EndNote Program : A software for managing medical bibliographic references.

Abstract

EndNote is a computer software for management of references and citations which is currently popular. It has the ability to manage references and citations systematically including the search of online database through established networks such as ISI Web of Science, ScienceDirect, PubMed, and records them on the software database which is called “Library”. Each Library can contain more than 30,000 entries, the number of Library is expandable without limit. EndNote can also work with other document-managing programs such as Microsoft Word. The author can insert a list of references into any part of the document while typing at any time. Also, the format of the list can be automatically designed with more than 1000 templates such as APA style, New England Journal of Medicine, Harvard, Vancouver and NLM, etc. Moreover, it can easily create special feature for citations in Thai language such as Journal of Medical Association of Thailand or Chulalongkorn Medical Journal.
