Chronic muscle pain is common in all professions, especially among those who sit for long periods, lack exercise, overexercise, and experience stress. These factors all contribute to muscle aches and pains. This is a quasi-experimental research design using two groups and pre-test/post-test measurements. The objectives of this study were to 1) investigate the effectiveness of blood transfusion before and after treatment on pain scores and cervical range of motion in patients with Office Syndrome; 2) investigate the effectiveness of traditional Thai massage before and after treatment on pain scores and cervical range of motion in patients with Office Syndrome; and 3) compare the effectiveness of blood transfusion and traditional Thai massage on pain scores and cervical range of motion in patients with Office Syndrome. The population and sample used in this study consisted of 44 patients receiving services at the Traditional Thai Medicine Clinic, Lamphu Sub-district Health Promotion Hospital, Mueang District, Narathiwat Province. The study results showed that: 1) A statistically significant difference (p < 0.05) was observed in the pre- and post-operative effectiveness comparison of bloodletting on pain scores and neck range of motion. 2) A statistically significant difference (p < 0.05) was observed in the pre- and post-operative effectiveness comparison of traditional Thai massage on pain scores and neck range of motion. 3) A statistically significant difference (p < 0.05) was observed in the pain score, head flexion angle, head extension angle, and right-angle neck movement angle compared to traditional Thai massage. However, left-angle neck tilt angle showed a statistically significant difference (p < 0.05).
