The Department of Disease Control receives reports of important events, diseases, and health threats under the Event-based surveillance program from the public health network as follows:
Domestic situation
1. A suspected fatal case of leptospirosis in Songkhla Province.
2. Risk assessment of the situation of leptospirosis cases and deaths following flooding events in southern Thailand.
International Situation
Reports of the spread of mpox (monkeypox) caused by Clade Ib in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) and Ireland.
