TB Knowledge, Attitude and Practices Among Nursing Staff, Chiang Rai Regional Hospital, 1996
Abstract
ในขณะที่ปัญหาของผู้ป่วยวัณโรคมีจำนวนเพิ่มขึ้น จากการระบาดของเชื้อ HIV ตลอดจนการศึกษาที่ชี้บ่งว่า อัตราเสี่ยงของการติดเชื้อวัณโรคของบุคลากรในโรงพยาบาลก็สูงขึ้นเช่นกัน การดำเนินมาตรการเพื่อป้องกันบุคลากรจึงนับว่าสำคัญอย่างยิ่ง การศึกษานี้มีจุดประสงค์ เพื่อศึกษาความรู้ ทัศนคติ และการปฏิบัติงานพยาบาลผู้ป่วยวัณโรคของเจ้าหน้าที่พยาบาล การศึกษาเป็นการสำรวจภาคตัดขวางโดยให้เจ้าหน้าที่กรอกเอง ผลการศึกษาพบว่า หากโรงพยาบาลจะจัดให้มี หรือดัดแปลงตึกผู้ป่วยให้เป็นตึกแยกเฉพาะผู้ป่วยวัณโรคเจ้าหน้าที่ที่ตอบแบบสอบถามหลายคนให้ความเห็นว่ารู้สึกมีความกังวล และมีบางส่วนไม่เต็มใจในการจะถูกสั่งให้ไปปฏิบัติงานในตึกนั้นเป็นการเฉพาะเกือบทั้งหมดต้องการการฝึกอบรมเรื่องการดูแลผู้ป่วยวัณโรคเพิ่มเติม ผลการศึกษาชี้บ่งว่านอกเหนือจากการดำเนินการปรับปรุงตึกผู้ป่วย ตลอดจนการจัดหาอุปกรณ์ที่จำเป็นต้องใช้ในการป้องกันการติดเชื้อในโรงพยาบาลแล้ว การให้ความรู้ที่เหมาะสมแก่บุคลากรก่อนการปฏิบัติงานก็นับว่าสำคัญอย่างยิ่งเพื่อเป็นการเตรียมความพร้อมก่อนปฏิบัติงาน
