Abstract

The Department of Disease Control receives reports of important events, diseases, and health threats under Event-based surveillance program from the public health network as follows:

Domestic situation

1. Suspected food poisoning from eating poisonous mushrooms in a cluster outbreak in Chachoengsao Province
2. A probable case of Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS) in Samut Prakan Province (Suvarnabhumi Airport)
3. Assessment of the risk of an outbreak of infectious diseases from an earthquake in Myanmar

 

International Situation

Reported situation of Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS-CoV) coronavirus infection
