Abstract

The Department of Disease Control receives reports of important events, diseases, and health threats under the event-based surveillance program from the public health network as follows:

Domestic situation

1. Food poisoning clusters, Chiang Rai Province

2. Ceftriaxone-resistant gonorrhea in the United Kingdom, from the report via the International Health Regulations Coordination Center (Thailand)

3. Preliminary risk assessment of the spread of drug-resistant gonorrhea in Thailand

 

International Situation

1. Report of 3 more cases of avian influenza A (H9N2) in China

2. Response situation report to the earthquake in Myanmar, Issue 3 (as of 18 April 2025) by OCHA
