The Department of Disease Control receives reports of important events, diseases, and health threats under Event-based surveillance program from the public health network as follows:
Domestic situation
1. Food poisoning/acute diarrhea clusters in a prison in Sakon Nakhon Province
2. Pertussis clusters in a school in Surat Thani Province
3. Risk Assessment of Pertussis
4. Disease and threat situations that have been raised to alert mode in the case of avian influenza
International situation
The Centre for Food Safety (CFS) in Hong Kong has urged the public not to consume two types of French soft cheese suspected of being contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes.
