Abstract

The Department of Disease Control receives reports of important events, diseases, and health threats under Event-based surveillance program from the public health network as follows:

Domestic situation

1. Two clusters of influenza were reported in Bangkok and Chonburi.
2. Disease and threat situation raised to alert mode for Vaccine-Derived Poliovirus (VDPV) in the Thai–Lao PDR border area
3. Risk assessment of influenza outbreaks in crowded settings or mass gatherings

International Situation

Poliomyelitis situation and vaccination coverage
