Abstract

The Department of Disease Control receives reports of important events, diseases, and health threats under the Event-based surveillance program from the public health network as follows:

Domestic situation

1. Drug-resistant gonorrhea: 5 incidents from Chonburi and Chiang Mai provinces
2. Gonorrhea situation in Thailand
3. Risk assessment for drug-resistant gonorrhea

International situation
The Hong Kong Centre for Health Protection (CHP) reported a second case of avian influenza A (H5N1) infection in Cambodia.
