Abstract

The Department of Disease Control receives reports of important events, diseases, and health threats under the Event-based surveillance program from the public health network as follows:

Domestic situation

1. Three cluster outbreaks of food poisoning/acute diarrhea in Phatthalung, Ubon Ratchathani, and Surin.
2.  The Rabies situation in Thailand.

International Situation

New study findings: Short-course preventive treatment for Tuberculosis is effective and safe.
