The Department of Disease Control receives reports of important events, diseases, and health threats under the Event-based surveillance program from the public health network as follows:
Domestic situation
1. An influenza cluster outbreak was reported in a correctional facility in Kamphaeng Phet Province.
2. A cluster of food poisoning associated with poisonous mushroom consumption was reported in Phetchabun Province.
3. Situation update on food poisoning associated with poisonous mushroom consumption.
4. Risk assessment of influenza transmission in crowded settings and mass gathering events.
International Situation
A new human case of avian influenza A (H9N2) was reported in China.
