Abstract

The Department of Disease Control receives reports of important events, diseases, and health threats under the Event-based surveillance program from the public health network as follows:

Domestic situation

1. Confirmed influenza cases in clusters, Bangkok
2. Cluster of patients with respiratory syndrome in a school, Bangkok
3. Suspected influenza cases in a cluster, Bangkok
4. Risk assessment of leptospirosis in flood-affected and flood-prone areas
5. Melioidosis situation in Thailand

International Situation

Cholera outbreak in Yangon, Myanmar: approximately 500 patients hospitalized
