Publication Ethics

Duties of authors

  1. Authors are required to complete the Author Declaration Form for publication in

Lai Sue Thai Health Research and Innovation Journal (LHIJ)  to affirm that the work submitted to the LHIJ has not been previously published, that is not under consideration for publication, or that it has not been accepted for publication elsewhere.

  1. The work must not be duplicated and not to publish the manuscript that is still in the evaluation process of this journal to other journals.
  2. Authors must prepare the manuscript according to the instructions given in the “Guidelines for Authors”.
  3. Research in humans or animals is required an ethics certificate from Ethics Committee.

 

Duties of editors

  1. Editors is responsible for the consideration of the quality of the work, in terms of content and the format of article for publication in the Journal.
  2. Provide an article review process from expertise who is well versed in the content of the article, including a confidentiality system during the evaluation process and personal information protection system for reviewers.
  3. Editors is responsible for deciding which of the manuscripts submitted to the Journal should be published. Peer-reviewed articles are required to be in line with the aims and scope of the LHIJ.
  4. Editors must not use articles that have been published for other uses.

Duties of Reviewers

  1. Reviewers must not disclose any information regarding the manuscript submitted for publication to those who are not involved in the publication process throughout the duration of the peer review process.
  2. Reviewers must review the manuscript by providing comments that are academically sound with supporting evidence. Reviewer should review the article without bias of the authors.
  3. Reviewers are asked to provide additional comments for the improvement of the manuscript.
  4. If the reviewer found evidence of plagiarism, or suspect that the submitted manuscript is similar to other published articles, the reviewer must notify the Journal in order to further evaluate the suspected manuscript.
  5. Must not have any conflicts of interest with the author of the article being considered.
