สถานการณ์การใช้หน้าจอดิจิทัลและบริบทการดูแลในเด็กปฐมวัยเขตเมืองและชนบท ของภาคตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือของไทย: การศึกษาเชิงพรรณนา

บทนำ: การใช้หน้าจอดิจิทัลเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของชีวิตประจำวันของเด็กปฐมวัย แต่การใช้มากเกินไปและขาดการมีส่วนร่วมของผู้ดูแลอาจลดโอกาสในการเล่นและปฏิสัมพันธ์ที่ส่งเสริมพัฒนาการ จึงจำเป็นต้องศึกษาสถานการณ์การใช้หน้าจอในบริบทครอบครัวภาคตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือ
วัตถุประสงค์การวิจัย: เพื่อศึกษาช่วงอายุเริ่มสัมผัสหน้าจอและระยะเวลาการใช้หน้าจอดิจิทัล ประเภทอุปกรณ์และจุดมุ่งหมายหลักในการใช้หน้าจอดิจิทัล และบริบทการดูแลขณะเด็กปฐมวัยใช้หน้าจอดิจิทัลในเขตเมืองและชนบทของภาคตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือ
ระเบียบวิธีวิจัย: เป็นการวิจัยเชิงพรรณนาแบบภาคตัดขวาง กลุ่มตัวอย่างเป็นเด็กปฐมวัย 400 คน เก็บข้อมูลจากผู้ปกครองหรือผู้ดูแลหลัก คัดเลือกกลุ่มตัวอย่างด้วยการสุ่มแบบหลายขั้นตอน เครื่องมือวิจัยเป็นแบบสอบถาม มีค่าความเชื่อมั่นของตัวแปรข้อมูลต่อเนื่องซึ่งมีค่า ICC เท่ากับ 0.91 และตัวแปรแบบเลือกตอบมีค่า Cohen's Kappa เท่ากับ 0.82–0.88 เก็บข้อมูลระยะเวลา 6 เดือน วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลด้วยสถิติเชิงพรรณนา ได้แก่ จำนวน ร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย และส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน
ผลการวิจัย: พบว่า เด็กปฐมวัยเริ่มสัมผัสหน้าจอครั้งแรกเมื่ออายุเฉลี่ย 2.1 ปี โดยร้อยละ 67.3 เริ่มสัมผัสหน้าจอก่อนอายุ 2 ปี มีเวลาใช้หน้าจอเฉลี่ย 2.8 ชั่วโมงต่อวัน และร้อยละ 62.8 ใช้มากกว่า 2 ชั่วโมงต่อวัน อุปกรณ์ที่ใช้บ่อยที่สุดคือสมาร์ทโฟน ร้อยละ 71.2 รองลงมาคือโทรทัศน์ ร้อยละ 56.3 จุดมุ่งหมายหลักการใช้หน้าจอเพื่อความบันเทิง ร้อยละ 74.5 และเพื่อให้เด็กอยู่นิ่งขณะผู้ดูแลทำงาน ร้อยละ 51.3 และบริบทการดูแลส่วนใหญ่ใช้หน้าจอเพื่อให้เด็กอยู่นิ่งระหว่างผู้ดูแลทำงานบ้าน ร้อยละ 58.8 รองลงมาคือผู้ดูแลอยู่ใกล้แต่ไม่ได้ชี้ชวนพูดคุย ร้อยละ 51.3 จำแนกตามพื้นที่พบว่าเขตเมืองมีสัดส่วนสูงสุดด้านผู้ดูแลอยู่ใกล้แต่ไม่ได้ชี้ชวนพูดคุย ร้อยละ 55.0 ขณะที่ชนบทใช้หน้าจอเพื่อให้เด็กอยู่นิ่งระหว่างผู้ดูแลทำงานสูงสุดร้อยละ 70.0
สรุปผล: เด็กปฐมวัยในภาคตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือมีการใช้หน้าจอดิจิทัลโดยส่วนใหญ่เริ่มใช้ตั้งแต่อายุน้อยและใช้มากกว่า 2 ชั่วโมงต่อวัน ขณะที่การใช้หน้าจอโดยลำพังและการใช้หน้าจอเพื่อช่วยเลี้ยงดูพบในสัดส่วนสูง โดยเฉพาะในพื้นที่ชนบท จึงควรส่งเสริมการใช้หน้าจออย่างเหมาะสมและเพิ่มการมีส่วนร่วมของผู้ดูแล
ข้อเสนอแนะ: ควรส่งเสริมให้ผู้ปกครองและผู้ดูแลกำกับการใช้หน้าจออย่างเหมาะสมตามวัย ลดการใช้หน้าจอในบริบทเสี่ยง และเพิ่มการใช้สื่อร่วมกันพร้อมการพูดคุยโต้ตอบกับเด็ก โดยเฉพาะครอบครัวในพื้นที่ชนบทและครอบครัวที่มีผู้ดูแลข้ามรุ่น
