The Journal of Nursing and Community Health, Boromarajonani College of Nursing Khon Kaen Alumni Association is published by the Boromarajonani College of Nursing Khon Kaen Alumni Association. The journal provides a platform for disseminating scholarly work in nursing, health promotion, community health systems, nursing education, health innovation, and routine-to-research (R2R). It aims to facilitate knowledge exchange among academics, researchers, and healthcare professionals to support the sustainable development of healthcare services and nursing education.

The journal welcomes scholarly and research articles covering various dimensions of nursing and health, including:

  • Nursing across all specialties and levels of healthcare services, including primary, secondary, and tertiary care
  • Community health systems, chronic illness care, and health promotion
  • Nursing education, learner competency development, and technology- and AI-enhanced learning
  • Research aimed at improving healthcare quality, including routine-to-research (R2R), clinical innovation, and patient safety
  • Health innovations, including eHealth, mHealth, digital health, and community-based innovations
  • Interprofessional collaboration among healthcare professionals
  • Mental, spiritual, and population-specific health

The journal accepts the following types of manuscripts: Research Articles, Academic Articles, and Practice-Based, R2R, or Innovation Articles. Manuscripts may be submitted in either Thai or English.

Publication Frequency

The journal publishes three issues per year, as follows:

  1. January–April
  2. May–August
  3. September–December

The Journal of Nursing and Community Health, Boromarajonani College of Nursing Khon Kaen Alumni Association is now accepting manuscripts for publication in Volume 1, Issue 3 (September–December 2026).

Manuscripts must be submitted through the ThaiJO online submission system. The journal is coordinated by Dr. Suratsawadee Panomkaen.

Aims and Scope
  • To disseminate knowledge, research, and innovations in nursing, midwifery, and multidisciplinary health sciences.
  • To support the improvement of educational quality, health service delivery, and health system development.
  • To promote scholarly work produced by alumni, health professionals, academic personnel, and professional networks at local and national levels.
  • To cover key areas including community and primary care nursing, noncommunicable diseases, palliative care, nursing education and simulation laboratories, healthcare quality, and patient safety.
Peer Review Process

All manuscripts are reviewed by at least three qualified peer reviewers. The review process maintains strict confidentiality, impartiality, and academic independence. The journal applies a double-blind peer review system, in which the identities of both the authors and reviewers are concealed throughout the evaluation process.
