วัตถุประสงค์หลักของการศึกษานี้คือการศึกษาผลกระทบของการใช้เทคนิค Binding Purse-string และ Transfixing Mattress Sutures ในการทำ Pancreaticogastrostomy โดยเฉพาะ POPF เมื่อเปรียบเทียบกับผลของ POPF ในการทำ PJ ที่เคยทำก่อนหน้านี้วัตถุประสงค์รองคือการศึกษาภาวะแทรกซ้อนอื่น ๆ เช่น การลำไส้เลื่อนล่าช้า การติดเชื้อที่แผลผ่าตัด การมีเลือดออกหลังผ่าตัด การรั่วของน้ำดี และการเสียชีวิตในการทำ Pancreaticogastrostomy โดยใช้เทคนิค Binding Purse-string และ Transfixing Mattress Sutures
วิธีการวิจัย : ในช่วงปี 2015 ถึง 2024 มีการผ่าตัด Pancreaticoduodenectomy (PD) จำนวน 60 ราย สำหรับผู้ป่วยโรคทั้งชนิดที่ไม่ร้ายแรงและชนิดที่ร้ายแรง ที่โรงพยาบาลสกลนคร (SKH) โดยในกลุ่มผู้ป่วยเหล่านี้มี 50 รายที่ได้รับการผ่าตัดแบบ PJ และ 10 รายที่ได้รับการผ่าตัดแบบ PG ด้วยการใช้เทคนิค Binding Purse-string และ Transpancreatic Transfixing Sutures ในการทำ pancreatico-enteric anastomosis ข้อมูลประชากรของผู้ป่วย ลักษณะของเนื้องอก ข้อมูลในการผ่าตัด และภาวะแทรกซ้อนในช่วงก่อนและหลังผ่าตัดได้ถูกรวบรวมและวิเคราะห์ด้วยสถิติเชิงพรรณนาและเชิงอนุมานที่เหมาะสม
