The Thai Traditional and Integrative Medicine Journal (TTIMJ) is a peer-reviewed, open-access academic journal dedicated to elevating the standards of research at both national and international levels. We serve as a premier platform for disseminating academic knowledge and innovations in Thai Traditional Medicine, Thai Indigenous Medicine, and Integrative Medicine. Our primary objective is to integrate traditional wisdom with global evidence-based practices, fostering holistic healthcare and driving sustainable health system development. Committed to academic freedom, the journal charges no publication fees.

Aims & Scope

The journal aims to disseminate scholarly knowledge and innovations across the fields of Thai Traditional Medicine, Thai Indigenous Medicine, and Integrative Medicine. We focus on bridging the gap between traditional wisdom and international evidence-based standards to promote holistic health and contribute to the sustainable advancement of the healthcare system.

We welcome submissions of original research, academic articles, review articles, case reports, and short communications from researchers, faculty members, students, and healthcare professionals globally. All submissions undergo a rigorous quality assessment to foster intellectual exchange and the continuous development of the field.


Peer Review Process

TTIMJ employs a double-blind peer review process to ensure fairness, transparency, and academic integrity. Every manuscript is evaluated by at least two external experts in the relevant field who remain anonymous to the authors, and vice versa.


Open Access Policy

TTIMJ is a fully Open Access journal. All content is available immediately and free of charge, based on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

Articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC 4.0). This allows for the sharing, adaptation, and distribution of the work in any medium for non-commercial purposes, provided appropriate credit is given to the original authors and the journal.


Article Processing Charges (APC)

The journal does not charge any fees for submission, processing, or publication.


Types of Articles

  1. Original Research Article: Empirical studies with clear methodologies, including both experimental and qualitative research.

  2. Academic Article: Scholarly works presenting concepts, theories, academic analyses, or practical guidelines.

  3. Review Article: Comprehensive syntheses and analyses of existing literature and current research.

  4. Case Report / Case Study: Valuable clinical cases in Thai Traditional or Integrative Medicine with practical applications.

  5. Short Communication / Brief Report: Concise reports of interesting preliminary research findings or significant academic observations.
