Abstract

The Department of Disease Control receives reports of important events, diseases, and health threats under Event-based surveillance program from the public health network as follows:

Domestic situation

1. Six Influenza Events reported in Nakhon Ratchasima, Sa Kaeo, and Mae Hong Son provinces.

2. Risk assessment of major diseases and health threats.

 

International Situation

1. Measles outbreaks in Vietnam.

2. Three fatalities from Nipah virus (NiV) reported in the People's Republic of Bangladesh.
