Abstract

The Department of Disease Control receives reports of important events, diseases, and health threats under Event-based surveillance program from the public health network as follows:

Domestic situation

1. Contacts exposed to rabies-infected animals: 2 cases reported in Maha Sarakham and Roi Et provinces.

 

International Situation

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has confirmed the detection of genotype D1.3 in the latest H5N1 avian influenza case in Ohio.
