Abstract

The Department of Disease Control receives reports of important events, diseases, and health threats under Event-based surveillance program from the public health network as follows:

Domestic situation

1. Anthrax, Mukdahan Province
2. Three clusters of COVID-19 outbreaks in Surin, Satun, and Chumphon Provinces
3. 9 deaths from COVID-19
4.  Risk assessment of the COVID-19 outbreak in Thailand

 

International situation

The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) announced that it will only recommend COVID-19 vaccines for adults 65 and older and people at risk for severe illness.
