Abstract

The Department of Disease Control receives reports of important events, diseases, and health threats under the Event-based surveillance program from the public health network as follows:

Domestic situation

1. Cluster of food poisoning/acute diarrheal disease cases in an educational institution, Bangkok
2. Risk assessment of clustered food poisoning outbreaks in healthcare facilities and educational institutions
3. Rabies situation

International Situation

Ebola disease outbreak caused by Bundibugyo virus in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Uganda, resulting in a Public Health Emergency of International Concern (PHEIC)
