The Department of Disease Control receives reports of important events, diseases, and health threats under the Event-based surveillance program from the public health network as follows:
Domestic situation
1. Two clusters of Influenza-Like Illness (ILI) among Military recruits in Phitsanulok and Sakon Nakhon Provinces
2. Extensively Drug-Resistant Tuberculosis (XDR-TB) in Nakhon Ratchasima Province
3. Risk assessment of respiratory Infectious disease outbreaks in crowded and congregate settings
International Situation
Ebola disease outbreak in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC): nearly 750 suspected cases and 177 deaths reported, prompting WHO to raise the national risk level from “High” to “Very High” (23 May 2026)
